Key Working training by Early Support programme - January to April 2013
The Key Working training supports participants to develop and build upon their understanding of key working and the good practice that underpins it. The training is subsidised by Government funding so multiagency practitioners and parent carers can access the training free of charge. The training is delivered over two days, including interim distance learning. It embeds the Early Support principles into the key working functions, supporting participants to put these into practice. Underpinning this is an exploration of how working in partnership could contribute to good practice in key working. Accreditation is available and participants will be given the opportunity to select an assessed route through the course.  Visit the Early Support website to find an event in your local region: http://ncb.org.uk/early-support/training/key-working-training

Tough times call for innovation and imagination
Date:
Friday 5th October 2012
Location: Milton Keynes
Summary: People with learning disabilities want to make real choices and decisions about the things that affect their lives.  Delivering the support to do this is a challenge in a time of cuts in personal financial support, in service budgets and in the workforce.

Lots of people and organisations are responding to the challenge with imaginative and innovative ways of working and giving support.  BILD Conference will highlight this work and show case some of the technical solutions springing up to help provide personalised support.

As well as our experienced and knowledgeable speakers, the learning café sessions and workshops will give you a chance to listen to the latest thinking and exchange experiences with those leading this work.  We want you to leave inspired by what you’ve seen and heard.
