The National Bureau for Students with Disabilities have a list of FAQs on many issues concerning education of disabled students.

If a young person is aged between 16 and 19, they may wish to study at a college providing further education- depending on the course they want to do and what is available in the local area. Further education colleges normally offer a wide range of courses both academic and vocational. If the college cannot offer a course, the Learning and Skills Council (LSC) should consider funding a place at another college- these are often residential.
