The core offer aims to set out clearly a national statement of expectations for how disabled children and their parents will be informed and involved as their needs are assessed and the necessary services provided.

The DCSF would like feedback on a number of points in the paper. They would also like to hear of examples of services where assessment and involvement are already shaped around the standards in the core offer.
