Welfare Reform Green Paper
The Welfare Reform Green Paper published 21 July 2008 announces government proposals to move people off Incapacity Benefit on to either Job Seekers Allowance or Employment and Support Allowance, with the aim of simplifying the benefits system.
The Green Paper - No one written off: reforming welfare to reward responsibility – offers additional support into the workplace for those that are able to work, including doubling the funding for Access to Work which provides assistance to disabled workers and their employers.
