Young People Speaking Up!

Over the last 2 years, Young People Speaking Up (YPSU) has supported 251 young people with learning difficulties, delivering over 100 workshops designed to build confidence and consider opportunities for the future. A recent survey showed that 80% felt more confident about speaking up for themselves after support from YPSU. YPSU currently support 47 young people in schools across the county and has supported 43 young people to be consulted on changes to services on behalf of the Cambridgeshire Strategic Partnership for Disabled Children. The main focus of the work YPSU carry out is a service which provides support for the transition from school to adult life, for 14 - 19 year olds with learning difficulties.
