This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Campaign Officer to join the Every Disabled Child Matters (EDCM) Campaign. You will be organising key campaign events and activities and supporting the Campaign Manager to develop and implement the campaign strategy.

You will be responsible for developing campaign actions through the website for campaign supporters, both adults and children, and for coordinating and developing campaign networks. You will also draft and co-ordinate the production of campaign reports, publications and promotional material.

You will need experience of working in a campaigning, lobbying or public affairs role along with the ability to review, research and identify specific and important issues, and to analyse government policy and research reports in order to make campaign recommendations or respond to consultations.

A strong communicator, you will have experience of building and maintaining relationships with partner organisations and the media. You must have sound IT skills, including an understanding of how to effectively use technology to support campaign activity.

This post has current funding for 2 years, employment beyond then will be dependent on further funding being secured.
